This is my new converted baneblade for my Sisters of Battle army: Temple of Absolution. With lots of bits and pieces from different kits, Forgeworld accessories and over 2 weeks of work and untold hours in painting i am pleased for its effects. Now im just getting ready to playtest some rules i have for it. Comments welcome

That is really good. i especially like the redeemer cannons on the front! Some really nice conversion work there and a very good paint job and 4 turrets!!!!!!!!! Thats gotta pack a lot of firepower for even an apocalypse tank. just an idea for the redeemer cannons on the front, i would make them hull mounted so not to overpower it with the weapons.

lol, i like that comment Glen. Yeah i have written rules and will be hull mounted for the Inferno Cannon, just to replace the twin heavy bolters it would normally come with. I could only find Redeemer weapons to fit the fire power look of a Inferno Cannon, as twin heavy flamers just didnt seeem to impressive for me. Thanks for the comments.

Ive considered this option but it kinda goes against the logical rules of 40k and imperial guard.
No imperial guard tank can be upgraded to be driven/mounted by storm troopers. Since they have BS 4 it might make logical sense, thus doing this with sisters is essentially the same thing. Since space marines do not drive baneblades as well it also goes for this.

Well consider this, that 10k years ago Imperial Gaurd also had Land Raiders, and some Baneblades are extremely old. And i have planned tht Sisters of Battle drive this tank, not Storm troopers.
Now fluff if you like but it has been known that for eroic sacrifice, heroism and devotion leaders and armies have been gifted with items, vehicles and tanks in past, just like th Repressor that SoB have access to. Along with Adeptus Arbites.
So why cant the Order Militant be given a Baneblade? If you would like to see a history im sure i could write one for you Pscho. Just like the Order of Martyrd Lady changed colours after Armagedon the Adeptus Mechanicus could have given one to the Adeptus Soritas. Hey if Orks and Chaos have them why cant i? Oh btw ever heard of the Fellblade? well its a Space Marine piloted Baneblade.

Omg soulknyt, that is one awesome looking conversion! I especially like the servitor thing who looks like he is playing the organ type device.
I think it would make sence that all armies of the imperium were atleast given the plans of the baneblade and told "hey we made this bane blade, let's see what you can do with it" there fore opening up army specific ones like a Sisters version.
The fell blade is a baneblade driven by space marines and where around befor the horus heresy so it's cool for sisters to know how to drive them as well.
Also IIRC I belive there is a famous baneblade tank comander from forge world that makes his baneblade bs4 for imp gaurd armies.

gonna be scary trying to transport that behemoth!
one painting suggestion (you're not gonna like!) paint all the rivets (theres a lot of em) i painted a red/black inquisitorial Chimera and it just didnt look right until i did the rivets, then it looks amazing.

Glen thanks for the daunting tip...not looking forward to doing it but i like it, will try to get it done soon. Yeah i had to buy a tub to carry the 2 baneblades i own, that will also fit room for 2 laindraiders and 6 penitant engines as well. And to top it off i have enough room to carry 2 trays of troops just nicely so that fits all my Inquistors retinue and arbites and storm trooper squads. And my Salamanders SM allies. Need extra help carrying it all down for a game but oh its good to have them all packed now.

There not cheap but probably good for if you really want to protect your models, and have them comfy at the same time.
