Being inspired by a few friends who are joining the Fantasy game, i feel compelled to play as well, and my army of choice is the Ogre Kindgoms.
Now...
Since GW gives a fairly one sided view of its armies, can anyone tell me the good and bad things about the Ogre Kingdoms that i may not find on the internet?

you can go one of 2 main routes with the orges. you can go a small army of really strong units or u can go a BIG horde army.
Also they have some really interesting magic

Gut Magic is awesome. Yhettes are amazingly effective. Don't overlook Gnobblars, you will need em.

it sounds good, could i go so far to say that they are the Fantasy necrons? ie: powerful expensive units (necrons/ogres) mixed with lots of weak 'hordlings' (scarabs/gnoblars)?
Also, i recently found out what 'M' means, and found it interesting that considering the Ogres are all fat, theyre also one of the fastest infantry based armies. [Anyone whose played my Orks before knows i like going fast and hitting hard ;D ] so, i think its safe to say that I am going to collect Ogre Kingdoms, considering they embody my gaming style.
Thanks for the stuff guys!

Also adam, i have read some things and it is possible to still have an effective force without Gnoblars but u need to be a lot more careful with your tactics in general cos shooting will hurt.

Essentially, try and outflank the enemy army and beat up the stuff that is not looking. Gnoblars would take a huge weight off my shoulders however, as they are a good distraction for when my Ogres would use their graceful sneaking to get behind Still, I am not sure how to handle gun heavy armies like dwarves and empire, besides from lots of those seedy looking Ogres always giving high fives, i forget their names.

i got 3 words for your skaven mouse, trap and cheez personally, i wouldn't endorse those little rodents by collecting an army of them, they already bug me by scittering around in my walls when i want to get to sleep, scittering RIGHT next to my head, i have this recurring nightmare that they will gnaw through the plaster and a whole bunch of them will spill out of the wall into my room one day. I better check for Warp stones under my house heheh
