Board game group meeting #2: Game 1: Battlestar Galactica Players: Simon (me) Michael Simon Locky Daniel
Game overview: With the president of the colonial fleet a hidden cylon from the very begining, they did everything possible to drop the resources as fast as possible and sabatage skill checks from the get go.
When the moral hit critical levels, a failed bluff saw the cylon forced to reveal themselves, fortunatly for them galactica had been hit already a couple of times, and using their special ability they where able to send the technition to the brig.
While the humans wasted efforts trying to get him out, the sleeper phase hit, sending boomer to the brig as well, unfortunatly for the humans, she was not a cylon, and with 2 crew members in the brig, and a traitor doing everything possible to keep them there, things appeared dire.
In the end, it was the admral who was the second cylon, and with 2 members in the brig, and a cylon admril, the humans just couldnt pass their skill checks, and in the end the population was exausted.
Result: Cylons Win
Game 2: Red november Players: Simon (me) Michael Daniel Locky Simon
Game overview: With things quickly stacking up, the experienced crew managed to hold out time and time again, putting out fires, repairing leaks and keeping the critical systems on line untill a very unfortunate roll saw the enitre crew slain by an enemy missle launch 39 minutes into their ordeal.
Result: Sailors killed.
Game 3: Frag Players: Simon (me) Michael Daniel Locky
Game Overview: A lot of lucky card draws saw simon speed out to an early lead, dishearting michael who was suffering from chronic bad luck.
Just when the game seemed over Danial managed to come back and give Simon a run for his money, the game continued as Simon was unable to draw any items of use to get his final kill.
In the end the game ended with both Simon and Daniel forced to roll off due to time constraints, which Daniel managed to win.
Result: Daniel: 5 Frags Simon: 5 Frags Locky: 3 Frags Michael: 1 Frag

Board game group meeting #3: Game 1: Drakon Players: Simon (me) Unkown Guest Player Daniel
Game overview: The players where learning how to play, so a decnet portion of the starting game was placing usless tiles.
Eventually when momentum got going daniel was able to pull in front and win.
Result: Daniel Win
Game 2: Drakon Players: Simon (me) Daniel Simon Leigh
Game overview: With everyone understanding how to play the pace moved quickly, backstabbing was rife.
After a few decent tracks where filled up leigh was able to pull in front and grab some heft coinage.
Result: Leigh Wins.
Game 3: Warrior Knights Players: Simon (me) Michael/Simon (Michael was filling in for Simon who dissapeared for 3/4s of the game) Daniel Kit Leigh
Game Overview: Plays starting off slowly to capture citys, a lot of early laws where passed, Simon/Michael pulled ahead early, but Daniel was able to negotiate and then debase their power.
With a lot of bribery mid game, and a lot of conspiring against Daniel, He was still able to edge out a win by 3 infulence.
Result: Daniel: 16 Influence Kit: 13 Influence Simon: 11 Influence Michael/Simon: 8 Infuence Leigh: 6 Influence
Game 4: Battlestar Galactica Players: Simon (me) Michael Daniel Leigh
Game Overview: An early mistake by Leigh, by going against the group, saw him goinng to the brig almost strait away, with everyone convinved he was the cylon, It wasnt untill after the sleeper phase (where everyone but the admral, was in the brig) was active, The Admral trusting the wrong person, was decieved and let the cylon out by mistake.
After release, the cyclon (who was also president) wasted no time sending the admral to the brig, thus stripping him of his title, and being the only active player not in the brig.
After some luck, the admral managed to escape, and steal the presedency, sending the vile trator to the brig as well.
Pardoning the pilot, the cylon had no hope to escape the brig, however with supplys running low, it was a race to get 2 jumps before distaster struck.
some luck on the humans side, as well as some extensive scouting saw the humans pull through with only 1 of each resource left.
Result: Humans Win

Board game group meeting #4: Game 1: Robo Rally Players: Simon (me) Simon Adrian Lochy Daniel Trevor Michael
Game overview: With only 3 people learning how to play, the action went through the roof from the get go.
Daniel was first to flag 1, followed shortly by Myself. Lochy was suffering some bad luck, being shot at from every direction and quickly racking up the damage.
After a quick dash to flag 2 by Myself and Daniel, Trevor managed to get to flag one relitivly unscathed, followed painstaikingly behind by michael.
Almost every robot had sustained over half damage, and many decided to shut down on the next turn, Lochys robot unfortunatly had sustaind so much damage he had no choice but to drive off the board, and Simons robot was taking hits from every direction.
After hitting flag 2 I managed to get to flag 3 on the very next turn due to a very lucky draw, trevor managed to hit flag 2 without too much trouble, and Adrians robot had suffered critical damage, but managed to last long enough to shut down and repair.
Still struggling to get to flag 1, locky and simon where being bumped and pushed around, knocking Michaels robot wildy off course, which ended in Lochys robot being shot from 2 or 3 directions the entire turn, and exploding on the 4th move.
As I was nearing flag 4, Trevor managed to hit flag 3, but I had an almost unloseable position.
The next turn saw Me drawing exactly the cards I needed and I won on the 3rd move. Result: I win
Game 2-A: Battlestar Galactica Players: Simon Daniel Lochy -> Jason Tye -> Simon (Me) Michael
Game overview: With the first half of the game, it was apparent that nobody was a cyclon, and the humans dominated the first few jumps, unfortunatly some centurions managed to board just before the sleeper phase jump, so galactica had some stow aways ready to pounce should the cylon's wish
When lochy went, Jason took over. As it turns out he became a cylon as well, unfortunaly due to Boomers negitive ability, he was also sent strait to the brig, but decided to reveal anyway causing the centurions to adance.
Next Daniel convinced Simon to give him an executive order, using his first action to look at michaels loyaltay cards, but lowering the moral (which was already pretty low), then revealed himself as a cylon for his next action. As it was Daniels turn after Simon, he was able to cause the centurians to advance again, looming only 1 space away from victory.
The Humans pumped every resource into destroying them, and on the last roll managed to kill the last one.
The game dragged on for a little while longer, but the crippling that the 2 cylons caused when they revealed was too much, and it was just delaying the enevitable.
Result: Cylons Win.
Game 2-B Settlers Of Catan Players: Simon (me) William Adrian
Game Overview: Becouse I chose to start near the port, but next to an 8 (which for a number thats supposed to come up almost all the time, only got rolled twice in the entire game) instead of a 6, which got rolled almost every other turn, I started off slow, however controlling almost the entire wood supply, was able to barter enough to get some roads and more settlments down.
William focused on one particular hex adjacent to some stone that was also a 6, reaping on average 4 to 6 stone per roll.
After I managed to pick up some steam, and some spiteful placing of the robber on wills stone hex, I managed to get myself within victory distance, however seeing how close I was, Adrian and Will started to target me. Fortunatly for me, Adrian(for no other reason than envy) then started to target wills stone gravy train with the robber.
Then with a dodgy deal in my favor, I managed to upgrade just enough settlements into citys to win. Result: I Win
Game 3: Red November Players: Simon (me) Daniel Jason
Game Overview: With things going fairly smoothly for the first 15 minutes, a failed sober check saw me fainting, with both the reactor and oxegen pumps dangerously low, wasting presous time, then drownng to death in my drunken state.
With almost no hope of rescue, Daniel hoped to keep the sub together just long enough to abandon us to our deaths, unfortunatly for him, an enemy missle destroyed us before he has the chance.
Result: Sailors Lose.

Board Game Group Meeting #5: Game 1: Battlestar Galactica Players: Simon Daniel Simon (Me) Jason Michael's friend (didnt catch his name) Michael
Game overview: With the new pegesus expansion included this time, we where keen to try out some of the new mechanics.
Michael decided he wanted to be one of the cylon leaders, and we where having fun playing around with the tretchery and recklless cards.
Then we forgot how that galactica had been boarded, and got carried away with accusations and executions, resultinng in the boarding party making it the whole way across the track, and ending the game very prematurely.
Result: Cylons Win (technnicly we all lost).
Game 2: Battlestar Galactica Players: Simon Daniel Lochy Simon (Me) Jason Michael's friend (didnt catch his name) Michael
Game overview: Deciding to give it another go, we managed to draw 3 or 4 cyclon attack cards in a row, reshuffling the crisis deck, the next card drawn again was another cylon attack, resulting in the loss of 5 or 6 civillian ships in very quick succession.
After an emergency "Blind jump" the humans managed to claw their way back into the game.
The sleeper phase saw boomer being sent to jail, the president then wasted no time checking her cards, and concequently executing her.
Once galactica had made it to new caprica, only 5 civillian ships remained, however this made it dead easy for the humans to prep and evacuate them.
The cyclons really had no chance after that.
Result: Humans Win.
Game 3: Chaos in the old world Players: Simon (me) Simon Jason
Game overview: Tzeentch wasted no time turning khorne onto slannesh, knowing that slannesh's easy dial turn conditions would be a threat late game.
Once slannesh was decently behind, tzeentch swaped tactics and turned slannesh against khorne, alowing himself to cruise to victory on turn 6.
Result: Tzeentch wins.

Board Game Group Meeting #6: Game 1: Kingsburg Players: Simon (Me) Bill Michael
Game overview: Testing out an economic stratergy, Simon was trailing for the entire game, with bill using a militry stratergy to gain early victory points.
Come mid game Simon's Merchant guild was online and the economic superheavy began to flex its muscles.
The last year of the game saw Michael trying to catch VP's any where he could, but low rolling was hampering his ability to get the resources he needed, Snatching the queen twice in a row for a hefty 6VP in the last 2 production seasons saw Simon rocket ahead and take the crown.
Result: Simon Wins
Game 2: Age Of Conan Players: Simon (Me) Michael Bill Chris
Game overview: The game started slowly as the two players who hadnt played the game struggled with their analyisis paralysis, Eventually Chris and Michael decided on a military statergy, while Simon chose to utilize conan for his VP and Bill chose a diplomatic path.
Blood was spilled early as Bill attacked Simons city in the 2nd age with provication, resulting in Simon utilizing his kingdom cards to cripple Bills military.
Chirs slowly built his military power and continued to conqure new territorys.
Eventually conan was crowned king of Simons empire, and his hefty conan score rocket him up the VP chart, alas it was not near enough and michales constant high bids for conan resulted in him winning by well over 10VP
Result: Michael Wins.
Game 3: Red November Players: Simon (me) Bill Michael
Game overview: Getting the timed crisis events early on allowed the sailors to focus on them with ot much penalty, and some lucky draws with the rubber duckys ment that not many events where being triggered.
Simon was unfortunate to get locked in a room on fire with no means to put it out so he burned to death, fortunatly for the 2 remaining sailors that the ship had been relitivly unscathed, so without much trouble, both markers made it to 0
Result: Sailors Win, Simon died.
