the new banlist has started a lot of arguments as to the future of lightsworn (LS) with alot of people saying that with charge, foolsh burial, necro and lumina at 1 as well as honest running at 2, LS are now on da dark path to obscurity. well i say FOOLS u know not what u speakth, i was running LS before charge otl brigade was even created, in a meta dominated by GBs and TeleDad, i won way more than i lost and even though its a diffrent meta all together LS players hav nothing to worry about, i guess as a LS original i will always have a soft spot for them, but even so IMO LS will still continue to shine brightly in the new meta, heres a few reasons why.
Judgement Dragon is still at 2. i love u konami but u sooo stupid, look up 26/02/10 narutos card of the week for why i think JD is going to help LS punnish everything.
another reason, Beckoning Light was untouched, this card has aways helped LS in da past by turning dead hands into good hands and sumtimes game winning hands. multiple honests, multiple JDs and now multiple luminas, i know what ur thinking wowsers.
in a strong synchro enviroment we now have room for Shiny Black C, when dis card is in ur graveyard and ur opponent synchro summons a monster, remove Shiny Black C from play to destroy the synchro summoned monster, ultimate tech nuff said.
i have a few expensive ideas on how ill run my LS dek, but a dark magician never reveals his secret, how do u plan on running ur LS deck?
